Galiano Cafe in Richmond

Really good homemade sandwiches, and soup. Daily lunch specials under 10$ and breakfast before 11am. This makes a great lunch option for those that work nearby, and a yummy meal for travellers.

Staff have bad attitude. They angrily shout out customer numbers when food is ready. I paid $9 for modest ham & Swiss with chips. I was told they were out of chips so I asked for a substitute & amazingly a crate of bags of chips appeared & was rudely thrown onto the counter. The sandwich was ok but worth only $6 at most. Rude service left a bad taste.

Good lunch specials, helpful staff and great coffee.

Wonton soup is where it’s at here!!
